Hey Teddy whatcha got there?

My flour now has a new home on a higher shelf in my pantry!!!!

The sad thing was I was standing about 2 feet away from him cooking dinner on the stove top while he was doing this!  Silence is very suspicious

Pumpkin Fun

Also, while Nate's Dad was here we went and picked out a couple pumpkins from a small pumpkin patch set up here in our town where the farmers market usually is.  We didn't get to carve them up until after Steve and Bev had gone back to Ohio, but I think Teddy enjoyed both experiences!

Catching Up- October Beach Trip

So after Teddy's birthday, Nathan went to SERE which meant we didn't see or hear from him for 3 weeks.  When he got home, Nate's Dad and Stepmom came to visit us for a long weekend... we had a great time!  We took Teddy and his friend Aiden to Panama City Beach for the day!  Teddy was not interested in the water at all but Aiden had a blast!

Catching Up.... Teddy's 1st Birthday Party

Yes it is December... and yes I am just putting up pictures from Teddy's Birthday party which occurred in September.  We had such a great time and were so blessed that so many family and friends were here to celebrate the big day with us.  Especially Nathan, there was a strong possibility that he was going to be in training for 3 weeks during Teddy's birthday and not get to be here... but thankfully that didn't happen and we were able to celebrate as a whole family!

Thanks to my creative sister and pintrest.... we were able to create a "teddy bear" themed party ( I know how appropriate right!) and some pretty sweet decorations

Teddy Bear Cake - thanks to Aunt Sabrina

I made a banner that I was pretty excited about... idea from pintrest of course.  I took a picture from each month of his first year and backed them with card stock then made little felt triangles and strung it all together with ribbon.

My Mom had this sweet banner made for him and brought it with her... thanks Mom!

Here is the Birthday Boy, doing what he does best.... being cute!

We loved being able to have the party here at our house and it was awesome that it was warm enough at the end of September to have a pool party and the kids get to swim!

Teddy really enjoyed his first cake experience.... although maybe not quite as much as all of the spectators!  He was interested at first... until he got a big glob of icing behind his ear and he just freaked out!  After we cleaned it off of him and gave him a fork... he really went after it!

Petey also enjoyed Teddy's first cake experience!

We really enjoyed having family come into town the week of the party and get to visit for a while.  We had: Nate's Mom, Aunt Toni, and Chris, Nate's sister Casey and Jesse and their sweet baby Jace, Nate's brother Kent and his wife Amanda and their two kids Tyler and Owen, my Mom and Sister Sabrina.  Then the day of the party we had some friends come over who we have really enjoyed meeting here in AL!

Oh the presents.... did I mention the presents!  Teddy got so much stuff for his birthday, I can't possibly imagine him getting any more toys for Christmas!

After all the food and present opening we all just hung out for a bit.  We had such a great time!

Happy Birthday Sweet Bear... I love you!
