Happy Birthday Papa!

My Papa's Birthday is tomorrow, he and Teddy almost shared a Birthday but missed it by 2 days.  We love you Papa and hope you have a great day!  Here are some pics from when we visited in June.

We call it "unpacking"

Teddy has an interesting hobby lately, and from what I hear from friends/family it is a very common one for babes his age, but it is still pretty funny!  He LOVES "unpacking" (as we call it), taking things off shelves and out of drawers.  At least once a day he unpacks his diaper bag, his changing table, my pantry, his couple of drawers/cabinets in the kitchen, and when he can sneak in..... the bathroom

A lot can change in a year!

As Teddy's 1st Birthday gets closer and closer, I can hardly believe how big he is and how much he has changed!  It seems like just a month or so ago we brought him home from the hospital, but really unless I look at pictures it is hard to remember him being that tiny.  He is such a little blessing, so sweet and we just love him so much!

However, in reality this is what he/we looked like a year ago today... Whoa!

And today....

But the most exciting news of the day..... Our little Bear took 2 tiny steps all by himself today for the first time (and he did it 2 separate times!)

This picture was the second time, we were trying to get a pic of him using his mouth as an extra hand (which he frequently does while crawling).  Then he went ahead and took 2 little steps right as Daddy took the picture.... p.s. don't mind my face in this pic, I was slightly excited ok!

Yes we are still here

So go figure I've been really slack about updating our blog recently... hopefully I can get into a habit of posting regularly so that I don't feel like I have soooooooo much catching up to do!  The past 4 months have been very busy for us, lots of changes and things going on.  Since my last post we have: visited family in Ohio, flown to Texas to visit more family, packed up our house at Ft. Campbell and moved to Alabama, visited family and vacationed at the beach in South Carolina, Nathan became a Warrant Officer and started flight school, Teddy started crawling and just keeps growing and growing, oh and I had a birthday and our sweet Bearsky is about to turn 1!!!!!!! Whew.  So here are just a few pics from those adventures:
