I'm running a little behind on posting about our six month old bear (since in a couple days he will be 7 months!), but here is an update on this cute little guy! He is sitting up so good now. I can sit him on the floor and he will play with his toys for a while and never fall over.
He just keeps growing and growing.... At his 6 month check-up he was about 17.5 pounds. He is wearing 6-9 month clothes now, and can I just say that I LOVE the summer clothes because you can see all of his little rolls!
Some of his favorite things are... being naked (or just in a diaper), he must be preparing for the hot summer we are sure to experience down in Alabama! Here he is just snoozing away on his floor having some nakey time!
Eating... another thing he enjoys. Since starting his solid foods he is now eating: sweet potatos, squash, peas, apples, pears, bananas, avacados, white potatos, yogurt, carrots, and pea soup... all with no complaints! I am so thankful that he is such a good eater so far! He is also doing great drinking some water from a little sippy cup.
Watching his favs Petey and Belle! He loves whenever he sees any dogs really, and always wants to touch (and eat if he could) our dogs especially. I've been surprised how great Belle our little dog has been with him so far. She is a little shy around kids sometimes, but she will let him pet her (with supervision of course) and she likes to watch him most of the time.
Teddy really likes playing with his Daddy also... he just laughs and jibber jabbers. He is becoming a very chatty little guy. He also likes eating his toes and putting everything possible in his mouth! Which is partly to blame on the fact that he is teething... in fact just today we noticed that his first little tooth (his bottom right one) has popped thru the skin... yay! Maybe now he will sleep longer at night... but I'm not holding my breath for that!
